The story of William Allen from Chillicothe who served in Washington DC in Statuary Hall and at age 70 was elected Governor of Ohio. He earned the following nicknames: Fightin' Bill Allen, One Vote Allen, The Ohio Gong, 54-40 Allen, and Fog Horn Allen.
